SugarCraftShop have been baking cakes for ages!

From corporate contracts with some of Scotland’s leading hotels to Sam’s third birthday cake in the shape of an elephant, we’ve done it all!

We are members of the the Federation of Small Businesses and the Scottish Association of Master Bakers.

Our first shop opened in early 2008 retailing sugarcraft equipment and materials as well as taking all your cake orders. Our teaching capacity has recently moved to Hillington Park.

Wedding cakes as individual as you are...

SugarCraftShop design wedding cakes which are as individual as you are.

Stacked, tiered, cup cakes, chocolate, royal iced, flowers, formal or fun - the choice is limited only by your imagination.

Organising a wedding can be very stressful, so we aim to make this part as painless as possible.

We will give you the confidence to plan the rest of your wedding knowing that at least one thing is taken care of.

Together, we will design a cake to your requirements which reflects your taste ...after all, it is your big day!

 

‘moan the daisies!

We like daisies!

As one of Scotland’s most understated wild flowers it’s small, honest, cheery, perfectly formed and completely natural - a bit like ourselves really!

That’s why we chose it as our company logo and why we are happy to sign-off every cake we make with a hidden daisy.

So remember, whatever your cake desires...as long as it’s got a daisy on it!

 

We break eggs...

  • We try to source all our ingredients locally.
  • We use flour milled in Edinburgh, free range eggs from some very happy hens in Ayrshire and butter from the Scottish Dairy Farmers’ Co-operative.
  • We feel it’s important to support good Scottish companies producing good Scottish produce.
  • We don’t believe in charging you a fortune.
  • We won’t use off-the-shelf decorations and tell you we made them ourselves!
  • We use whole ingredients and don’t believe in using packet mixes under any circumstances - for example, all our cakes are baked to traditional recipes using only fresh ingredients...we break eggs!
