Our cut cards are approximately 1.5mm thick and are manufactured in the UK from large sheets of food-approved foil-faced cake card which is then cut down. Designed primarily for light sponges, gateaux and cupcakes, cut card is semi-rigid and is ideal for forming a secure, flat base when stacking cakes with dowels. Some customers may prefer a card with a finished edge for stacking, see our single thick card.
